Rifle Shooting for DofE

We are keen to support young people who would like to develop their skill in the highly disciplined sport of target rifle shooting.

Please let us know if you are looking to complete the Duke of Edinburgh's award so that we can ensure the correct support is in place. We will follow a syllabus that takes you through all you need to achieve for the respective award.
On completion we will provide you with a personal activity log.

We of course hope that you will continue on with your shooting after your DofE !

How does it work?

Duration
The DofE scheme states that Sectional activities need to average an hour a week.

How does it work?

• Step 1 is to complete the Induction Course and progress through to your probationary membership.
• We expect members completing their DofE to attend on average once a week
• Following your induction we will support you and track your development and improvement.
• A fantastic way of showing your skill development is to take part in competitions that happen regularly.

On completion we will provide you with a personal activity log.

What will I learn?
You will learn about the equipment, how to shoot safely, and most importantly learn how to shoot and know what is right and what is not so good!
We recommend you check with your DofE Leader for applicability before booking - but we can assure you that we've supported young people through all award levels.
